Relationships

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Relationship are critical in life, we cannot get around them.  I personally pray for God to guide me in all of my relationships.  I embrace the relationships that uplift and support me and dismiss the others.  I totally believe people come in your life for a reason, season or lifetime.  Some people are placed in our paths, and we in theirs for specific reasons.  It may to get us through a difficult time, a challenge we’re facing, guidance, whatever the reason there is a purpose.  But, we should understand that some relationships were not meant to be forever.  Sometimes, their departure from our lives just means you are in a better place, and they were simply just in your life for a season or specific reason.

All relationships have their purpose.  Don’t get caught up on if someone betrays or deceives you, it’s a part of relationships.  Rather learn the lesson that the relationship brought you.  Remember not everyone who comes in your life means you good, or has your best interest at heart.  We must pay close attention when building new relationships such as potential friends, business partners, or acquaintances, pray and ask God to show you if it’s in your best interest.  If not, don’t hesitate to move on.  Give thanks for all the people who have entered your life, and get over those who have moved on.  They served their purpose.  There will always be people you can count on to be with you on your life journey, but for those that are not a part of your life journey send them on their way with love & kindness.  This will open the door for more success in your relationships and blessing for you to experience. Choose relationships with lots of prayer, thoughtfulness and carefulness.

Take a moment to share your thoughts on relationships!  Remember you’re helping somebody by sharing.  Cheers!

Women with Wisdom

Monday, October 19th, 2009

How much have you grown in the last 5 years alone?  Think about all the valuable lessons you have learned and life experiences you have embraced with grace and class.  We are stronger and wiser.  We are women with wisdom.  We are smart, beautiful, intelligent, and full of life.  We are comfortable with ourselves.  We mean what we say, and say what we mean.  We are women with low tolerance for drama, negativity, or foolishness.

As we grow and increase our confidence, we let things roll off our shoulders that might have bothered us in the past.  We understand that life throws us curve balls that can be seen as lessons in living.  We’ve learned to go with the flow and when to be still so that we can get the right message.  At the end of the day no one has to remind us  who we are; we know we aren’t perfect.  We’re ready to turn our weakness into strengths and build on our gifts.  Women with wisdom know how to laugh, embrace peace, we love hard, and we share in each other’s joy and pain.  We find it fulfilling to share our wisdom with other so that it might help them avoid our previous mistakes.  Women equipped with wisdom should embrace each day as another opportunity to get things right, do things better and be the best that we can be.  We should learn from our previous mistakes and embrace the future ahead of us!

Take a moment to share your thoughts, remember you’re helping somebody by sharing.  Cheers to Wisdom!

Thankfulness

Today I am reminded of how good God is to me, my family and friends.  I am so thankful for his presence in my every being.  I give thanks for this protection, for making crooked places straight, for protection through the storms, for making a way out of no way, and for forgiving me when I was unable to forgive myself and others.  I am thankful for grace and mercy I realize his goodness enduredth forever.  I am thankful for knowing that their is a higher power in my life.  I am his and for that I am so thankful.

Please take a moment to share at least one thing you’re thankful for on today, remember you’re helping somebody!  Cheers.

It’s Saturday, do you have something fun planned?

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

Remember it’s the weekend and FUN is being in the pursuit of joy!  We get caught up in life and all of our responsibilities that we  forget to have fun. We also get consumed with the work part of life that we forget to play.  We must remember life is a game, and games are meant to be fun.    Once you realize that there is more to life than working and taking on too many responsibilities, life takes on a new meaning.  Fun gives you a new outlook, something to look forward to. It keeps you youthful and vibrant.  Fun is absolutely free.  Give yourself permission to have fun.  It’s the weekend find something fun to do today and share back with us, remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers!

Imperfections

Friday, October 16th, 2009

If you’re like me, you often feel that “good enough” just isn’t good enough.  But, I am learning to see things differently.  Feeling the need to do things perfectly drains so much energy and waste time and effort.  Perfectionism also produces a lot of unnecessary stress and pressure and can lead to burnout.  Start saving your energy for what counts!  Start by acknowledging the following:

No one is perfect, and you don’t have to be.  You’ll make mistakes, but so what? You’ll learn and grown through them.  I hope.  Recognize the difference between a mistake and a failure.  Take a moment to share your thoughts, remember you’re helping somebody!  Cheers.

Faith

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Faith, it’s not what you do, it’s not something you’re looking for, it’s not something you’ve lost.  Faith is who you are.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.  Never forget that.

Faith is a gift, whenever I am alone, Faith is with me.  When it appears that all of my resources and reserves are gone, Faith is there.  When my so-called friends close their eyes, stop listening, and turn their backs on me, Faith is there.  When I slip and make decisions and choices that are not in my best interest Faith is there.  When the “me” in “me” can no longer see the goodness and unlimited blessing you have in store for me Faith is there.  I am grateful for the gift of Faith.  I realize I cannot buy it, borrow it, I only need to acknowledge you in all my ways so that you can continue to direct my path!  I am thankful for the gift of Faith.

Take a moment to share your thoughts on Faith, we all have some.  Remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers!

Love yourself and prepare for your future!

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

No matter what you’re going through, love yourself.  See the beauty in your smile as it flashes back at you in the mirror.  Love the grace of your walk.  Cultivate your self-esteem and your intellect.  A nurtured mind is your pass to all sorts of opportunities.  Trust and lean into your innate intelligence.  Remember that no error is unpardonable.  Look, all around you are striving, achieving women, all of whom once navigated the ups and downs of growing up and life.  As you move onward and upward, it is so important that you pardon those who might have wronged you.  Forgive.  Remember you are a prize, you are precious.  Dare to dream beyond your present circumstances, set your goals, knowing they are within your grasp.  And if anyone should refuse you along the way, then create a fresh start for yourself.  You deserve it!

Take a moment to share your thought on loving you and how you prepare for your future and stay strong.  Remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers!

TIME

Monday, October 12th, 2009

One thing I know for sure “TIME waits on no-one”.  We live in a World that is obviously troubled there is simply no regard for human life, children, families are falling apart, and violence is at an all time high.  But, one thing is for sure TIME still continues to tick away.

I have been thinking why is it that every time something great happens in your life it seems like it’s accompanied by something “not so great”?  When you’re young, sometimes older too, you automatically assume that you have all the TIME in the World but then something tragic happens, you get a call you weren’t expecting, someone suddenly walks out of your life or you walk out of theirs, and you realize that you’re not guaranteed TIME.  There’s an old saying “tell people and show them that you love them every day because you may never get to say it or show them again” or “don’t go to bed mad because you may not wake up”, there are a lot of people that leave home during the course of the day, but never return.  TIME…………….

TIME is so valuable and has never had the meaning it has for me as it does today.  TIME is more valuable than money, material possessions, or tangible things, but we still seem to take these things for granted.  Take TIME to make amends with family, friends or loves ones, take TIME to just make a call to say “hi, I love you”, treasure the TIME you have been blessed with and share it with the people you love and hold dear, if there are any issues or unresolved problems make sure you work it out before you run out of time…………………. Remember time waits on no one, and we are not promised the next second.

Your assignment today is to make TIME to share, give, love and receive love.  Please share your comments about what TIME means to you, remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers to TIME!
