Make It Easy on Yourself

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

We release our struggles when we begin to see life as a teacher and a good friend, not a foe.  Otherwise we spend our lives feeling afraid.  Open your eyes.  See the brilliant light all around you.  What brings you joy and fulfillment is God’s plan for your life.  Making critical moves will help God help you live in the light.

It’s Sunday, give thanks for at least one thing!

Cheers!

Just a little bit of FAITH

Fill your heart with faith, the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.  Knowing and believing that God doesn’t give you a mission without also giving you the power to bring it to fruition.  Cheers.

Counting Our Blessings

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

2009 was a tough year for many of us, yet still we must count our blessing.  After all we made it through another year even if we’re limping into 2010 weighed down by downsizing, foreclosures, health issues, loss of a job or income and any other personal issues or challenges.

All if this means that we must do an even better job of taking care of ourselves and each other.  Remember that no matter what you’re going through, someone else has a worse scenario.  Say a kind word to brighten someone’s day.  Share a little bit of what you have (OK, what you don’t have) with extended family, neighbors, strangers, or even an organization that you can make a difference.

Keep yourself uplifted by looking on the bright side, seeing the cup half full instead of half empty.  Do what you can to stay healthy and fit.  Protect your last good nerve, and share your woes with a professional if you feel just a little bit blue over a long period of time.  Don’t let the challenges of life make you bluer.  Cheers.
