{"id":698,"date":"2012-01-08T17:29:01","date_gmt":"2012-01-09T01:29:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sistahology.com\/blog\/?p=698"},"modified":"2012-01-08T17:29:01","modified_gmt":"2012-01-09T01:29:01","slug":"what%e2%80%99s-your-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sistahology.com\/blog\/what%e2%80%99s-your-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"What\u2019s Your Plan?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"background-repeat: no-repeat;\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As we embrace a new year, where do you see yourself a year from now?\u00a0 Five years from now?\u00a0 Where do you want to be and how would you like to be living and loving?\u00a0 If no clear image comes to mind, don\u2019t panic yet.\u00a0 Get busy finding the answers.\u00a0 It\u2019s your life!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It\u2019s been said so many ways:\u00a0 \u201cWithout vision, the people perish.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cIf you fail to plan, you plan to fail.\u201d\u00a0 If you don\u2019t know where you\u2019re going, any road can and will take you there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Naturally sometimes things have a tendency to fall apart.\u00a0 But if we can embrace a positive vision and pair it with our own creative effort, organization and commitment, we can avoid slipping into chaos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whatever you want out of life you must first envision.\u00a0 See it clearly. \u00a0Name it.\u00a0 Claim it, then make detailed plans to bring it to fruition.\u00a0 Dreams precede reality.\u00a0 There is no human invention that was not first a vision, an image in the mind, a thought, a concept, a word.\u00a0 I am a living witness to this as I made \u201cSistahology\u201d a reality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What we focus on increases in our lives.\u00a0 Our thoughts and words have creative power, giving form to formless energy all around us.\u00a0 When we think or speak negatively about ourselves, our body, our talents and intellect, we create the conditions to bring it to fruition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Remember living ain\u2019t easy!\u00a0 Each day we must make a conscious effort not to see ourselves in a mirror distorted by racism, sexism, ageism, or our<br \/>\npainful life experiences.\u00a0 Those forces will only have us deny ourselves and our power.\u00a0 See the full beauty of who you are:\u00a0 We are more than simply survivors.\u00a0 We are thrivers, powerful and capable women born for this precious hour, minute, second.\u00a0 Cheers!<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we embrace a new year, where do you see yourself a year from now?\u00a0 Five years from now?\u00a0 Where do you want to be and how would you like to be living and loving?\u00a0 If no clear image comes to mind, don\u2019t panic yet.\u00a0 Get busy finding the answers.\u00a0 It\u2019s your life!
