{"id":709,"date":"2012-01-30T20:34:27","date_gmt":"2012-01-31T04:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sistahology.com\/blog\/?p=709"},"modified":"2012-01-30T20:34:27","modified_gmt":"2012-01-31T04:34:27","slug":"matters-of-the-heart%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sistahology.com\/blog\/matters-of-the-heart%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6%e2%80%a6\/","title":{"rendered":"Matters of the heart\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"background-repeat: no-repeat;\"><p>As I have grown older I often felt the need to write about my life and my life experiences.\u00a0 This is what led me to launch Sistahology.com.\u00a0 As I have grown older I not only write about the happenings of the day, but I also explore the happenings in my life.\u00a0 We all go through something and I have often found myself noting in real time what I am going through on a daily basis the highs and the lows, the pretty &amp; ugly.\u00a0 It\u2019s my life I have to own my experiences.\u00a0 Despite the need, it wasn\u2019t until I created Sistahology.com (a private website to journal) that I felt my private thoughts were protected and safe.\u00a0 I journal as much as I can it\u2019s a life ritualfor me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We may not always be comfortable sharing our deepest feelings with others but we\u2019d better know what they are.\u00a0 If we aren\u2019t open to our own deepest truths, how will we know what we are seeking?\u00a0 One of the first steps towards wholeness is telling the truth to yourself, opening your heart to yourself so that you gain clarity about what is true for you.\u00a0 Writing from your heart helps you discover the depth of your soul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sharing our intimacies is not only healing to us, but helpsothers as well to understand that we need not be victims of the past.
