Positive thinking doesn’t mean that you keep your head in the sand and ignore life’s less pleasant situations. Positive thinking just means that you approach the unpleasantness in a more positive and productive way. You think the best is going to happen, not the worst.
Positive thinking often starts with self-talk. Self-talk is the endless stream of unspoken thoughts that run through your head every day. These automatic thoughts can be positive or negative. Some of your self-talk comes from logic and reason. Other self-talk may arise from misconceptions that you create because of lack of information.
Do you find yourself drifting off into the negative when things are hard? Stop take a deep breath and say: I Embrace Positivity.
Give it a try, and you quickly see how rewarding being positive can be! Cheers!
Hi Andrea,
I’m a HUGE fan of Sistahology! Thank you for feeding my soul with the food to sustain it! I have a few questions that I hope you can answer if you have the time.
1) What do you suggest doing if your job working on a team with a poisonous person? Do you smile and play along or should YOU POISON THEM?
2) We got checks from the American government? I never got a check! WHere can I get my check? I could sure use some extra ca$h LOL
3) I try to embrace POSITIVITY in all my life choices but then on Monday my day started off real bad and I tried to be as POSITIVE as I could but then when I left my place I stepped in dog poop right outside LOL. What do you do then?!!
Thanks Toni! Stay blessed!
