Brighter Days Ahead

When you are faced with adversity, rather than seeing the World as being against you, live as if it’s conspiring to make you better.  Each and every obstacle we face has its purpose in our lives, this one makes you stronger & wiser, and that one comes to make you more patient.

Thank each of the obstacles you face for teaching you to be creative and to persist, then keep positive until you can see your way not only through the barriers but to ALL the possibilities beyond.  Cheers!

Far too often we feel that we can only be happy from external events. We will be happy once we get that new job, new relationship, new car, once we have won the lottery the list goes on and on.

But the point about happiness is that you should be happy right now this very moment. You will never have this moment in time to be happy again.  Life does move on and time doesn’t stop because we are unhappy.  Obtaining wealth or materials things is not the path to happiness! If that where the case we would not hear of so many wealth people, pop and film stars dying of drug overdoses and other bad choices.

The old saying “money can’t buy happiness” is still very true to this day. Choose any happiness affirmations that fits your situation best and say it as often as you can during the course of your day. Say it to yourself first thing in the morning as you look into the bathroom mirror. This will start your day off to a good start. Then repeat it as often as you can during the day.  My favorite affirmation is “I am HAPPY Loving Me & Living My Life & Enjoying Every Moment”!  How about you?  Cheers to you & your HAPPINESS!

So often, we feel guilty for feeling happy, or for even wanting to feel happy. We somehow think that it’s not right. It’s not a matter of being right or wrong. The simple truth is that happiness is there for the taking if you will allow it to be.

You may feel you don’t deserve to be happy because of your actions and thoughts that you make you feel unworthy. However, it has nothing to do with what you have done or not done or whether or not you are worthy. You are worthy, just because. It’s as simple as that. You exist. Your own personal, wonderful being is as worthy as anyone else is to be happy.  Cheers to your happiness!

The other morning I found myself wrestling with how to better manage my life in this very demanding economic season. I am intrigued about the principle of seedtime and harvest. It was challenging to the point that I felt this insatiable desire to increase my giving in every area of my life. I found myself engaged in an intense time of reflection and mediation, asking myself difficult questions. I was so challenged to grow in the ministry of generosity. Generosity is a powerful lifestyle choice that exposes you to the abundant side of a Higher Power.

What is Generosity? Generosity is about opening your hand and allowing a Higher Power to give to others through you. It is about serving a Higher Power by letting him trust you with resources.  Notice it is a Higher Power trusting you with the resources and you willingly directing them where your Higher Power is most served through the ministry of people.

How do you enhance this area of your life?

1. Study your spiritual word in the area of Generosity.

2. Look for opportunities to give above and beyond what you are accustomed to.

3. On a daily basis, assess your response to others.  Allow the Spirit to show you how you respond to others when given the opportunity.

4. Take advantage of increase to increase your giving.

Generosity then is a set up for a Higher Power merciful response to you.  So learn to sell out to the principle. The principle of Seedtime and Harvest truly works. Discipline yourself to give abundantly in the form of kindness, mercy, compassion, and financial resources and watch your higher power prove to you in abundant ways. You empower your higher power to work through you & with you. Please do not miss this awesome revelation.
