Your Invitation to Happiness

Open wide the door to your truest feelings; make friends with your emotions.  Sit still with them when you feel burdened, and listen to the still soft voice whispering.  Turn to me in any crisis, no matter how large or small; stop struggling and just turn to me!  Soon the sweet, welcome guest, truth, will arrive.

Open the door to faith, love & happiness. These are the guest you want to host forever.  Let them feel your mind, body & heart.  Faith has always been a sure shelter for women.  Faith takes strength, and it makes strength.  Believe, and the burden will surely be lifted.  Understanding faith, love & happiness and rest a sure comfort will come.  I hope you begin to see the big picture, and in time your path will be clearer and brighter.  Cheers to you & your happiness!

Oh So Thankful!

Sunday, November 18th, 2012

As we enter the week of Thanksgiving, we should all look and think back over the last 11 months and take a moment to acknowledge all the things we have to be “Thankful” for. If you are blessed to read this posting you have been blessed with the gift of life and vision. For me this has been a trying year in so many ways but I am reminded by the scripture that says “in all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct my path”. And I am a witness that the word is right. I had to really acknowledge the gift of acceptance, and letting go. I realize that people come in your life for a reason, season or a life time. And I am very thankful that God blessed me to just “LET GO” of so many people, situations and circumstances, replacing those things with the gift of “I don’t care”. I can truly testify that I am FREE and it feels SO good.

A few things I am thankful for, God grace & mercy, good health, family, a few good ride or die friends, love, being in love, peace, and all the joy God has allowed me to experience in my life.

I ask that you take some time today in stillness and record at least 5 things you are thankful for, and give thanks today and every day for all things. I pray you & your family embrace a blessed Thanksgiving Season. Cheers!

Claiming Your Space

We were taught a lot by example, not sure what’s happening in this new age of living. But over time we’ve fallen into forgetfulness. We’ve forgotten our power, our passion and our place. We should be working together in joy, love and celebration to create an agenda that serves our purpose in life, or purpose for being.

We must remember the great benefits we enjoy today don’t come from nothing. They have grown out of a long glorious legacy of mutual love, faith and commitment, which gave our foremother the courage to stand strong together and if necessary fight for justice, fight for our children & families. What’s happening right before our eyes today? Have we forgotten how to stand? We must stand for something or we will continue to fall for anything. Cheers!
