WHAT BRINGS ME JOY TODAY!

November 9th, 2009

Take a moment and jot down something that brought you “Joy” on today!  People who can identify why good feeling occur are less likely to be depressed.  We must practice daily on creating an environment that’s filled with joy and surround ourselves with people and environments that are joyful!

Feel free to share what brings you joy!  Remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers to Joy!

Have you given thanks today?

November 8th, 2009

What’s going on?  We live in a World that is consumed with violence everywhere, everyday to anyone.  Are we safe anywhere?  It doesn’t feel like it.  So, many people feel hopeless and lost and obviously searching for some fulfillment.  We must all take time to find hope and give thanks for everything, little or much.  Live everyday to the fullest, you are not promised tomorrow.

I am thankful!  Cheers.

It’s Saturday!

FUN is being in the pursuit of joy!  We get so caught up in life and all of our responsibilities that we simply forget to have fun. We must remember life is a game.  Games are intended to be fun!  Once you realize that there is more to life than working and being consumed with so many things to do, people to see, life will take on a new meaning.

Fun gives you a new outlook, something to look forward to. It keeps you feeling young and full of life.  Fun is absolutely free.  Give yourself permission to have fun.  Find something fun to do today and share back with us, remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers!

Own Your Choices

November 6th, 2009

There are so many people who will have opinions or disagree with the decisions you make that you might as well just start making them based on what you want.  Your happiness is not connected to anyone but you; you control your well being.  If you are comfortable with the life decisions you make, then no one else’s opinions should matter.  You must trust your own instinct.

Please share your comments!  Remember you’re helping somebody.  Cheers!

Do You!

November 4th, 2009

Live life on your own path & terms!   Everyone has something different going on staying true to you should be your focus.  If you don’t already, you will realize that you can’t keep up with other people and what they have going on, so you’re better off just keeping up with yourself.  And doing you!  After all you can always count on you…………

Cheers to doing you!

Style

November 3rd, 2009

Style is embracing the fullness of who you are and what you have to offer others.   Have you ever witnessed a person walk into a room and suddenly all eyes are on them?  Could it be the persuasive presence that can stop conversations and demand reverence by just entering a space.

Style can open doors and present opportunities.  Style can make a deal or break it.  Style can be the difference between your success and failure.  It’s not something you purchase.  It’s not something you can fake.  Style encourages us to be compassionate to those less fortunate and humble in light of our successes.  It reminds us to treat all people with respect, no matter what their situations in life, and no matter yours.  Style is not denying who you really are and what you have to offer the World.  It is standing with that confidence and possessing the ability to shake off negativity.

Style does not look or feel the same on everyone; each of us adds our own personal touch.  We all have the potential to have style, but it’s up to us to realize it!

Take a moment to share your thoughts on your personal style!  Remember by sharing your thoughts you’re helping someone!  Cheers.

Giving Back

November 2nd, 2009

We should all understand that contributing to others in need doesn’t just help the other person, it also improves your well being, boost your spirits, and makes you feel like part of a larger community.  We must understand any amount of money, time or just simply giving back to others in our communities should feel rewarding.  We should find ways to help others.  It doesn’t always have to be money but take time to think about all of the ways you could contribute to someone else, like clothes you don’t wear, shoes not worn all the can goods that go un-opened! These are things that could really help someone else.  There are people with no clothes, no change of clothes and no food.  Think about it and if you can help someone please do so.

As we enter the month of November its the month of Thanksgiving and we should have an open mind & heart to think of others who are less fortunate than us!  Giving to someone else will make you feel so much better.  Try it!

Make your relationships better!

October 30th, 2009

Start by becoming a better and careful listener this alone will help you get along better with everyone.  Often, we zone out during conversations because we planning what we are going to say next.  This often sends a sign to the other person that you don’t care and that what they are saying is not important to you.  Be a good listener and if it takes time for you to respond, oh well!  Good listening should be both parties responsibility.  Stay focused on your words not your thoughts, this should help.

Take a moment to share tips on how to make relationships better perhaps something that has worked for you.  Remember you’re sharing is helping somebody.  Cheers!
