An Open Invitation

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011

Life is full of surprises, you never who or what might come knocking. Throw the doors to life open wide and look for the gift it might bring and be clear about asking what’s destructive to leave.

Sometimes we lock the worst guest inside, these type of guest make it very hard for you to move on with your life. We must remember any unwanted guest we invite into our lives will cost us our peace, joy and happiness.

Throughout our lifetime we will all have a visit from anger, shame, fear, and depression; these emotions are traits of our human nature, evidence that we are home to a heart and a conscience. Don’t shut the door to troublesome guest you just can’t allow them to live with you. Though they make you feel uncomfortable and anxious for a time, analyzing your discomfort brings the blessings of information. When discomfort arrives, invite it in and ask what it has come to teach you. There are lesson to learn from every emotional guest and experience.

Always open the door to faith. It is the guest you want to host forever. Let it fill your heart, mind, body & soul. Faith takes strength, and it makes strength. Believe, and the burden will be lifted. Understanding and comfort will come. Cheers!
