BLISS

September 3rd, 2011

Let it begin within.  Finding your bliss is not luck.  It’s a tangible process that starts with your inner thoughts.  We must learn to meditate on finding the life you want, no matter what your circumstances.  Everything starts with you!  You are completely responsible for who you want to be and how you want to embrace life.  You have to welcome thoughts such as: I am a good person.  I can decide how I want to live my life everyday and how I want my life to be different.

Make happiness and living a blissful life a goal.  Don’t allow other people and their circumstances to interfere with your bliss!  Every adult makes choices and decisions that they must live with it’s simply not your problem.  Remember to whom much is given, much is required.  Cheers!

Our path to peace

August 27th, 2011

The awareness of peace helps us drop the rant of the ego, which is always looking for offenses, measuring them, rearranging the details to make us feel justified.  But, things don’t have to go our way for us to be happy.  We can be happy simply because the people we love are happy.  Taking care of our own business should boost self-esteem and success, health and happiness.

No two people experience life in exactly the same way, and we can never control another’s thoughts or deeds.  We have to practice letting go of the illusion that we must control everything and everybody.  Instead, embrace peace, the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding.  Cheers to peace!

Breaking Bad Habits

August 20th, 2011

Bad habits are like weeds, easy to grow but so hard to kill.  Unlike weeds you have to be sure you want to get rid of the bad habit.  Make up in your mind that enough is simply enough.  You have to be tired of getting sick and tired.

First, figure out the motivation behind you want to break the bad habit.  We all have them but that does not mean we want to get rid of them.  It’s important to ask yourself what you will gain from breaking the bad habit.

Second, take the necessary steps to break the bad habit.  You must have a structure for change to achieve positive results.

Third, set a date for which the change will be complete!  That’s right you have to have a dead line in place, none of us change without pressure.

Finally, surround yourself with a supportive group of family and friends, folks that are aware of the bad habit you are trying to break and folks that will hold you accountable for the change commitment you have made to yourself.

Cheers to a healthier lifestyle!

Your Passion

August 14th, 2011

Passion – Including the manifestations of passion we feel within ourselves which allows us to call it “ours”. Passion is not something we can grasp or own but a force of nature, connected to an influenced by things that extend far beyond any human being. You know when you have found your passion, there’s an instant connection. When we embrace our passions it pushes us forward when we question our passion it stops us dead in our tracks. Follow your heart, take time to be still so that you can feel it when it arrives.  It’s taking a leap of faith and welcoming all the possibilities.

Passion is something we search for, we must be ready and willing to embrace it when it comes knocking. When passion arrives you will have joy, peace and happiness.  Cheers!

Beauty Bliss

August 6th, 2011

Hello Beautiful! Yes, I am talking about you. Perhaps your concept of beauty is to look perfect. Perhaps it’s reaching some other unattainable ideal that maybe holding you back from putting your best self forward. If your identity and sense of worth are too dependent on appearance, minor flaws and mishaps can take on epic proportions and interfere with your life.  Don’t get stressed out or discouraged.  You can learn to love your individual attributes and redefine the role your look plays in your life.  Try taking on a more positive attitude and self-image. Embrace ideas that make you feel good.

Remember tiny tweaks can transform your inner beauty thoughts, and loving yourself is key! Blissfully kiss any negativity good-bye. Cheers!

My thoughts on true happiness!

July 31st, 2011

As women, we’re more prone to taking on too much which means we’re usually moving at such an unbalanced speed we seldom take a moment to breath, much less take time to think about ways to increase our joy & happiness.  Many of us are so aligned with our realities and we don’t allow time to have a pity party about how stressed our lives can be, we just do what we have to do and expect to have a slow leak of joy.  But, I believe that many of us are seeking the kind of contentment that puts a smile on our face no matter how low our spirits may be.  The problem is that happiness can be so elusive.  Research shows that happiness isn’t just a great hope; it’s a quest and a state of being that is within our ultimate control.  We must take time to understand that happiness is not about having a perfect life; it’s about taking the necessary steps and making choices to increase your joy & happiness.

I believe that happiness is a feeling of overwhelming peace, calmness that comes from within.  It’s when you figure out what important to you, when you have absolutely nothing to prove.  It’s giving 100 in everything you do and everything you’ve got and being satisfied, regardless of the outcome.  Happiness is when you’re willing to surrender to joy, giving yourself permission to feel it.  Not holding yourself hostage for any past mistakes you may have made, it’s doing what you love, learning to embrace and respect the beauty of living in the “now”.  Finally, it’s when you can make yourself smile and laugh without depending on anybody else.  Cheers to your happiness!

Living Fearless

July 23rd, 2011

What does it mean to live boldly to choose opportunity, joy, peace & happiness over doubt and regret? We must learn how to get rid of fears that send our dreams out the door.

We may not be free-falling through the clouds, but women all over the country are longing to live big, better, fearless, and bliss filled lives. We are searching to embrace happiness that we own, but we often don’t know where to begin. We fantasize about the World that waits us, we don’t want to defer our dreams, we want to live in the moment and enjoy the lives we have fantasized about now! What stops us from our pursuit? Fear…………..
Just imagine leaving our comfort zone and stop worrying about failure. We forget just how resilient we are, we forget about the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that we have. We can’t give up and we certainly stop trying.  We must remember on the other side of fear is power, joy, peace, happiness, and opportunity. Don’t let fear rob you!

To live fearlessly, we must embrace the fact that sometimes we will feel afraid. We must embrace our fears by stepping forward rather than away, it’s important to grasp that we won’t eventually arrive at a place devoid of fear. And that’s a good thing; because fear can be a sign of that we are on to something big, a risk worth getting excited about. To live fearlessly, we must embrace the fact that sometimes we will feel afraid. The next time fear comforts you, consider yourself lucky. Cheers!

Embrace a “bad day!

July 16th, 2011

You’re not going to have success at every turn in life, every day is not going to be joy-filled, and that is OK. Many people are afraid of failing, and they let that fear stop them from trying in the first place. We must understand that making mistakes are an integral part of success. It’s an entry point for learning that allows us to grow. We must learn the lessons when we make mistakes and try really hard not to make the same mistakes twice. Learn to forgive yourself and strive to be better and do better. Embrace every day knowing that we can decide how to make it better than the day before.

Your past does not dictate your future. Cheers!

An Open Invitation

July 3rd, 2011

Life is full of surprises, you never who or what might come knocking. Throw the doors to life open wide and look for the gift it might bring and be clear about asking what’s destructive to leave.

Sometimes we lock the worst guest inside, these type of guest make it very hard for you to move on with your life. We must remember any unwanted guest we invite into our lives will cost us our peace, joy and happiness.

Throughout our lifetime we will all have a visit from anger, shame, fear, and depression; these emotions are traits of our human nature, evidence that we are home to a heart and a conscience. Don’t shut the door to troublesome guest you just can’t allow them to live with you. Though they make you feel uncomfortable and anxious for a time, analyzing your discomfort brings the blessings of information. When discomfort arrives, invite it in and ask what it has come to teach you. There are lesson to learn from every emotional guest and experience.

Always open the door to faith. It is the guest you want to host forever. Let it fill your heart, mind, body & soul. Faith takes strength, and it makes strength. Believe, and the burden will be lifted. Understanding and comfort will come. Cheers!
